Dr. Schuppan currently serves as Professor and Director, Celiac Disease and Fibrosis Center at UMC Mainz. Dr. Schuppan is credited with identifying testing methods relating to Celiac Disease, leading to a paradigm shift in Celiac disease research and diagnosis. Schuppan has had visiting professorships at Columbia University, Yale University, Duke University, the University of Maryland, the Mayo Clinic, the Weizmann Institute of Science, and the University of California at Los Angeles and San Diego.
Dr. Guandalini is a Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics, and the Section Chief, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Chicago. Dr. Guandalini created the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center in response to the low rate of celiac disease detection in the United States, and also founded and has been the president of the North American Society for the Study of Celiac Disease. Dr. Guandalini has been ranked among America’s "Best Doctors" since 2008.
Dr. Diamandis currently serves as Division Head of Clinical Biochemistry at Mount Sinai Hospital and Biochemist-in-Chief at the University Health Network. Dr. Diamandis is a Member of 45 Journal Advisory Scientific and Editorial Boards, including The Journal of Biological Chemistry, Cancer Research, Molecular Cancer Research, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Clinical Chemistry and Journal of Proteome Research.
Dr. Spitz is a professor in the NCI-designated Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine, and was appointed by President Barack Obama as a member of the National Cancer Advisory Board (NCAB). She was the first woman in the University of Texas System selected for a Distinguished University Chair while at MD Anderson, and was recently honored as the 2016 Distinguished MD Anderson Alumnus.
Dr. Bondy is a Professor and Associate Director for the Dan L. Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Baylor College of Medicine, as well as a committee member for the American Society of Prevention Oncology. Dr. Bondy is the author of more than 250 scientific publications and 20 book chapters. She serves on study sections for the National Cancer Institute and National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
